Big Rig Fire Delays Traffic On Highway 70

MARYSVILLE, Calif. -

An overnight big rig fire will cause traffic delays on State Highway 70 north of Marysville until noon.

Caltrans is alerting motorists to allow for additional travel time Wednesday morning on State Highway 70 north of Marysville.

A big rig caught fire around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Motorists can expect one-way traffic controls in the vicinity of Highway 70 and Old State Highway due to the big rig incident.

Cleanup and removal of the big rig is estimated to continue until approximately noon. Travelers are urged to use caution in the area.
