The group Cleaner Greener Red Bluff is gearing up for another community cleanup and is looking for your help.
Cleaner Greener Red Bluff is a group of all volunteers who work to cleanup the community.
This time around, they're teaming up with other local groups, Tehama Trails, Civil War Days and Greenwaste of Tehama to cleanup Dog Island Park. It's off Main Street in North Red Bluff.
The park has a couple miles of trails that run along the Sacramento River. It's also a popular spot for dogs and disc golf.
Tiffany Gunsauls, one of the group leaders, told us Dog Island Park is a beautiful place, but isn't kept up.
She said the goal is to restore the trails to make a safer, cleaner environment. "It's just amazing how when you get a big group of people to just do a little bit of work, the impact that it can make is just enormous. It's huge and it really does effect our whole community; [we can all] benefit from you taking a couple of hours out of your Saturday."
Gunsauls said the Red Bluff City Council approved their cleanup plans.
She said after their work is done, they're hoping the city will work to maintain their improvements.
If you'd like to help out, the cleanup is set for 8 a.m on Saturday April 6th.
They're asking volunteers to bring gloves, any gardening equipment and to wear long pants.
