Foul Play Suspected in Disappearance of Chico Man

Investigators suspect foul play in the disappearance of a Chico man. Neal Forrest King, 24, was reported to the Chico Police Department as a missing person by his girlfriend.
The reporting party indicated that Neal King was last seen at 4001 Hildale Avenue, Oroville meeting a person there for a business transaction involving marijuana. Neal King has not been seen or heard from since March 26, 2013 in the early afternoon hours.
The Butte County Sheriff's Office took jurisdiction in this case based on the location where Neal King was last seen and other information discovered early on in the investigation.
Butte County Sheriff's detectives have been actively investigating this case and have served multiple search warrants in Butte County. Based on information gathered, it is believed that foul play is involved with Neal King's disappearance.
Neal King is believed to have been in the Berry Creek area of Butte County when he was last seen alive. Neal was described as wearing blue jeans, a light green thermal long sleeve shirt and brown hiking boots.
Neal King is further described as being 5'11", 120 pounds, green eyes and very short red hair.
