Hit and Run Car Crash Leaves Four People Hospitalized

WILLOWS, Calif. -

An alleged DUI hit and run car crash landed four people in the hospital Friday night.

Around 10:00 p.m. Willow police officers were dispatched to an accident reported at the intersection of Sycamore and Tehama Street in Willows.

When officers arrived they found a white 2012 Nissan Rogue that had been hit by a red 2002 Chevy Blazer. Officers said the Blazer ran a red light driving westbound on Sycamore Street and struck the Nissan Rogue. The driver of the Nissan Rogue, 63-year-old Ruby Koon was taken to Glenn Medical Center along with her three passengers 38-year-old Rodney Pozzi, 39-year-old Jennifer Pozzi and a 4-year-old child. Koon was later air lifted to Enloe Hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the Chevy Blazer, 25-year-old Zachary Davis fled the scene but was later found at his home and arrested for hit and run with injuries and driving under the influence of alcohol with injuries.
