IGO, Calif. -

The Shasta County Coroner's Office has released the name of the man who died in a crash in Igo over the weekend.

They told us it is 22-year-old Daniel Scott.

The crash happened just after 10 p.m. Saturday on South Fork Road.

The Scott family said all three men in the car that night are good-hearted boys.

They told us Scott was engaged to be married in two months and that he was a great man who cared a lot about his family and friends.

They said the three men in the car were best friends, who were all hard workers.

Officers said 26-year-old Shane Urban was driving his 1986 Toyota pickup when he made an unsafe turning movement causing him to lose control. The truck left the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

Urban and one of his passengers, 21-year-old Austin Wicks of Anderson, managed to get out of the truck on their own with moderate injuries.

Investigators said none of the three men was wearing a seat belt.

Urban was arrested and charged with gross vehicular manslaughter and DUI.

Scott's family said the men did have a few drinks, but that none of them were drunk.

They said they were just driving down the street to check on a control burn and that this is just a tragic accident.
