Jose Ochoa Legacy Fund Set Up; Memorial Service on Saturday

The widow of DJ Jose Ochoa sat down with KRCR News Channel 7 on Monday to share memories of her late husband, and put rumors about his cause of death to rest.

REDDING, Calif. -

A Jose Ochoa Legacy Fund was set up at all local US Banks in memory of the late DJ Jose Ochoa, who died of a heart attack last Friday at age 35.

Radio personalities Billy and Patrick shared today on their Facebook page that 100 percent of the proceeds for the fund will go to Ochoa's four children and his wife Monica.

Ochoa's memorial service will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Civic Auditorium. You can donate money there as well.

Ochoa of Power 94 (KEWB 94.7 FM) in Redding was found dead at his home on Friday.

According to Ochoa's Facebook, he graduated from West Valley High School in Cottonwood in 1995 and attended Chico State University.
