A minor injury traffic collision shut down part of Highway 273 on Monday.
A blue Durango was headed southbound on 273 while a black GMC SUV was driving northbound. The black SUV crossed the double yellow lines and struck the Durango on its left side.
The passengers complained of pain and minor injuries. Officers have officially ruled out the drivers being under the influence of controlled substances as the cause, but the crash is still being investigated.
The road was closed at Wyndham going southbound and traffic was being diverted onto the east side of the road.
The road was reopened as of about 2:30 p.m.
