Natural Gas Explosion at Rights Roads DUI Program Office Under Investigation

RED BLUFF, Calif. -

A PG&E gas explosion broke out Sunday night at the Right Roads DUI Program office in Red Bluff.

It happened at 206 Hickory Street around 11:00pm. Fire officials said the fire involved natural gas flowing from a gas meter. A plastic cart and paper were found burned next to the gas meter..

The Fire Department arrived quickly after the reported call and were able to knock down the fire within three minutes. PG&E officials were called out while firefighters shut off the gas at the service valve.

There was minimal damage caused by the fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
