Northstate Native Stabbed 7 Times While Protecting Kids

A Gridley woman says her son was attacked in Sacramento last week, after stepping in to protect some kids from getting bullied.

Jonathan Robinson, 32 years-old, was raised in Gridley and recently moved to Sacramento.  His family says he is now fighting for his life after he tried to do the right thing.  Last Monday, Robinson was stabbed seven times in the upper body when he stood up to bullies picking on kids in front of his home.  One week later, Robinson remains in critical condition in a coma at U.C. Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.

The family says Robinson doesn’t have insurance to cover the medical costs which are climbing higher each day.  They also say the suspects have been caught and charged.
