REDDING, Calif. -

Redding Police are asking for your help in identifying a burglary suspect caught on surveillance video.  On Saturday, April 20 at 2:23 p.m., a residential burglary occurred on Sunnyhill Lane in Redding.

Approximately $2,000 worth of property was taken in a matter of minutes.

Police said they are looking for 19-year-old Kurtis Miller. They were able to identify him after getting tips from the public.

Police believe the surveillance video shows Miller driving a red two-door sedan.

They say he can be seen making entry into the residence and loading stolen property into his vehicle, including a jewelry box, cash, dress shirts, and ties.

Police said the red car in the surveillance video was stolen from the Redding Walmart parking lot last week. The CHP found it Tuesday in south Redding.

Officials said they have Miller on another surveillance video dumping the car. They were also able to recover some of the things taken from the Sunnyhill Lane home.

Miller is described as a white male, about 5' 10'' and 170 pounds.

He's wanted for residential burglary and vehicle theft.

Shasta County Secret Witness is also offering a reward for the identification and successful prosecution of the suspect.
