Red Bluff Round Up weekend is finally upon us with a kick off event Friday night at the Tehama County Fairgrounds.
Competitions were held earlier, but the main evening rodeo competions kicked off Friday night at Frank Moore Arena.
After a week of lead up activities, the crowd was definitely pumped to get the main rodeo competition goings--and they were not dissapointed.
The night started with wild horse races, followed by saddle bronc riding and tie down roping.
Roger Walker came with his wife and grandkids and says the rodeo has been a family affair for some time.
"We've been coming out to the rodeo for probably 30 plus years," Walker said, "and we make it an annual outing for our family. It's just a good event to come to for the community."
Plenty more rodeo performances are slated for Saturday with the conclusion coming on Sunday.
There are also activities outside of the fairgrounds.
The Round Up Parade takes place tomorrow morning at 10 in downtown Red Bluff at City Hall.
