Red Bluff is hitting national television and will be showcased in a new reality show on the cable channel A&E.
The Red Bluff-Tehama County Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday that Red Bluff has been chosen to be featured in an episode of the new show "Rodeo Girls."
A&E's website says that "Rodeo Girls" will "offer a glimpse into the lavish and glamorous world of the women of the pro rodeo circuit."
Of course it will focus on the Red Bluff Roundup so most of the activity will be around the Tehama County Fairgrounds. But Dave Gowan told us earlier today that A&E crews will also visit local businesses and other locations in Red Bluff.
Gowan said the Chamber is "very excited to open up our doors to them and let them come in and see what a great community this is, what great people are here and what great events go on here in Red Bluff."
Gowan also said that the television crew should not be hard to miss. Including camera operators, sound technicians and other production staff, they will total 31 people.
A&E has yet to announce when the show will premiere.
Red Bluff's "11 Days of Round Up" includes more than 30 events across the city of Red Bluff, starting April 11 and running through April 21.
