REDDING, Calif. -

The Redding Police Dept. is looking for two men who allegedly shot at another man who was sitting in his parked car.

It happened Wednesday afternoon around 1 p.m. near the intersection of West and Sheridan Streets. Ryan Split, 29, of Cottonwood said he was sitting in his car when he heard a gunshot.

Split noticed that a bullet was shot through the rear window of his car and struck the inside of the front windshield.

Split pulled out a handgun and saw a silver sport utility vehicle stopped in the intersection with two white men in their 20's inside of the car. Split said the two men fled and were last seen driving northbound on Airpark Dr. toward Placer St.

Split did not fire his weapon and police said he had a valid concealed weapons permit.

No one was injured. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Redding Police Department.
