CORNING, Calif. -

Shots fired from a moving car in Corning Wednesday night were gang-related.

A 23-year-old man and two kids working on a vehicle outside when another car pulled up and started shooting at them.

Corning police said that no arrests have been made but that they do have a few leads. The shooting happened on the 1900 block of Grant Ave. shortly before 9:30 p.m.

Witnesses told police that 23-year-old Jose Catillo and two juveniles were outside working on their car. Witnesses said a dark-colored vehicle, perhaps a Pontiac make, drove alongside the house and a passenger fired five or six shots from a revolver. The victims took cover and did not get injured.

The only description of the passenger and possible shooter was that he was wearing a dark-colored beanie.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Corning Police Department.
