Tehama County Animal Care Center Is Overflowing With Lovable Dogs
RED BLUFF, Calif. -

On Monday, the Tehama County Animal Care Center took in more than two dozen new dogs, adding to their already full facility.

There are only 44 kennels, and as of Thursday there were 59 dogs staying at the center.  The manager, Mark Storrey says this is the first time the facility has been this full.  Another problem is that a majority of the dogs are Pit Bulls, which are very difficult to get adopted out.

The center is now holding an adoption special to help get the Pit Bulls forever homes.  Until Saturday, the Tehama County Animal Care Center will be offering a discounted price to adopt them.  It is $45.00 for those who register in Tehama County and $35.00 for those who live in other areas.
