The New Year Brings More People To The Gym
A new year always seems to bring new resolutions.
Gyms in the Northstate are noticing a spike in the number of people enrolling. The most common time for people to enroll are the months of December through April.
Everyone is trying to lose those extra pounds they put on during the holiday season. Fitness experts say it’s important to remember that nutrition goes along with working out.
“Everybody thinks about oh ok I’m gonna quit eating this and this,” says Everyday Fitness Owner, Larry Fuqua.”You need to just change [your nutrition] generously for life, you can’t just continue to eat everything that you like and not have some guidelines for what should really be the right consumption”
Gym owners also say if you’re planning on joining, now is the time. The best deals happen at the beginning of the year.
