Three people have been arrested in a drug investigation in Anderson. It happened late Thursday night. In the 3200 block of East Bailey Drive in Anderson.
At 11:58 p.m. Thursday, officers from the Anderson Police Department responded to a report of several suspicious subjects near a vacant residence.
Officers encountered Phaedra Starr Rose, 37, Mouksavanh Lone Soumpholphakdy, 33, and Elmer Agustines Aldo, 30 all of Redding.
Police said the trio gave officers inconsistent and suspicious statements regarding why they were at the residence.
During a search of the vehicle, officers located several ecstasy tablets and items believed to possibly be associated with the illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine.
SINTF agents were requested to assist with the investigation. It was determined that most of the materials located inside the subject's vehicle were directly related to the illegal manufacturing of methamphetamine.
A search warrant was served at the Anderson residence along with a local Redding area hotel room to obtain additional evidence.
Rose was arrested for conspiracy to manufacture controlled substances and possession of a controlled substance.
Soumpholphakdy was arrested for conspiracy to manufacture controlled substances, and possession of a controlled substance.
Aldo was arrested for conspiracy to manufacture controlled substances and an outstanding Shasta County Superior Court warrant. All three subjects were booked at the Shasta County Jail.
