115 more people will have jobs in Chico soon as United Healthcare Insurance announced today that it's expanding.

Hundreds of people were packed in at the United Healthcare building trying to get that full time job.

United Healthcare will also recruit military veterans to help with the nationwide 100,000 Jobs Mission.

This coalition shares the same goal with other US corporations to hire 100,000 vets by 2020.

North State Congressman Wally Herger was there along with State Assemblyman Dan Louge, Chico Mayor Ann Schuab, and Butte County Supervisor Larry Wahl.

Recruiters are excited to see some opportunities happening right here in their community.

"I would like a job that is 8 to 5 at night and that is what they are offering here. I think that will be a great opportunity and plus the benefits seem like they are great," says job hunter Daryn Kruzner.

United Healthcare plans to have more than 500 workers in Chico by the end of the year.

Congressman Herger says this is a good start of a recovering economy.=and is happy to see it happening in his hometown of Chico.
