REDDING, Calif. -

Redding Police said Wednesday they arrested one suspect in connection with a pellet gun shooting at a Redding Redbox.  The shooting Monday left a man with a pellet lodged in his head.

Teddy Robertson was trying to rent a video at the Redbox kiosk outside Tower Mart on Lake Boulevard in Redding around 7 p.m. Monday.

His girlfriend Lauren Galligan said some young people pulled up in a white Nissan Sentra.

One of them gave Robertson a hard time and shot him with a pellet gun.  The pellet became lodged behind Robertson's eye and will require surgery. The victim followed the Sentra, and the person with the pellet gun continued shooting back at Robertson's car.

Police had been looking for the suspects' white Sentra when an officer spotted it around noon Wednesday on Interstate 5.

The officer called for backup, then followed the vehicle and pulled it over at the same Tower Mart where the shooting happened two days earlier.

Officers said they arrested one suspect in connection with the pellet gun shooting.  They detained two other people in the vehicle for questioning.  The people in the vehicle appeared to be teenagers.

The name of the suspect was not released.  Stay with KRCR News Channel 7 for more information on this developing story.
