The suspect in the killing of a Red Bluff teenager will be charged Wednesday afternoon. Quentin Bealer, 39, is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday at 1 p.m..
One week ago, Marysa Nichols, 14, was reported missing when she didn't come home from school.
On Thursday her body was found near a creek behind Red Bluff High School. Police arrested Bealer after he turned himself in for questioning Saturday morning. He was booked into the Tehama County Jail where he's held without bail.
Police now need your help to locate two items that are key pieces of evidence into her death. Investigators are looking for a pair of red shorts worn by Bealer in surveillance video recorded last Tuesday.
Police are also looking for Marysa's iPod with a pink removable case.
Police ask that you share any surveillance video recorded last Tuesday in the area around Red Bluff High School.
A memorial service for Marysa Nichols will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 9, at Calvary Chapel, 12375 Paskenta Road in Red Bluff.
