MAGALIA, Calif. -

A vintage home in Magalia was damaged by fire Tuesday night.  A woman who lives there escaped as the fire burned the home's attic.

It broke out around 8:30 Tuesday night on Glover Lane.  The home is associated with the historic Magalia Train Depot.

Cal Fire spokesperson Mary Ann Aldrich said five engines responded and the fire was contained to the attic.

There is smoke and water damage throughout the 800 square foot home.

The woman who lives there was at home when the fire broke out.  She escaped without injury.  Due to the damage she was displaced and is being assisted by the American Red Cross.
