Chico police are looking for a man in his sixties after they say he stabbed a man on East First Avenue.
This happened just before 3:00 p.m. Friday afternoon in the area of Verbena Lane. Police said a man in his sixties was walking when another man asked him for money. When he refused, the man says he was stabbed. He then made his way to Tiffany Doolittle’s home begging for help.
“I peeked out the window and I saw this man bleeding and he just told me that he's been stabbed and if i could call 911,” said Doolittle.
Police said the suspect is described as a man in his sixties with gray dreadlocks. The victim was taken to Enloe Medical Center with several stab wounds to his chest.
