One loves to play fetch; one loves to play catch.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. -

Buster the boxer is a happy dog in the Mangas household.

The story behind his name has only been known to friends and family of anchor Mike Mangas until now.

Mangas brought him home from Tehama County Jul. 7, 2010, the same night that Buster Posey hit a home run and grand slam against the Milwaukee Brewers in his rookie season.

That's when the boxer officially became Buster.

"I can say that it's not the first, and probably not the last," Posey said about being named after a dog. "I guess it's an honor. Yeah, and if I hit a homer and a slam, then you should bring him to every game."

Buster Posey is now a National League M.V.P. and a two-time All Star.
