The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has named All-Region honorees for the 2012-13 Division II outdoor track & field season, and as in past years, Chico State is well represented.
The Wildcat men’s team, ranked 12th nationwide heading into this week’s NCAA Track & Field Championships, and the No. 16 Chico State women’s team totaled a combined 20 athletes receiving All-West Region recognition.
For Isaac Chavez, Anthony Costales, Aimee Rodgers and Amy Schnittger, it was the third time they have been named All-West Region in their Chico State careers.
Six other Wildcats – Hakeem Dyson, J Patrick Smith, Dayne Gradone, Adrian Sherrod, Robin Hannah and Bridget McClarrinon – received the USTFCCCA’s All-West Region honor for the second time.
Barnett, Chavez, Costales, Gradone, Smith and TheodoreElsenbaumer were each named 2013 All-West Region in multiple events.
