CHICO, Calif. -

The Chico Police Department has released surveillance video of an armed robbery that happened Tuesday afternoon at the Fair Street Market.

Investigators said it was very similar to a robbery that happened Monday.

Sergeant Rob Merrifield told KRCR News Channel 7 the business at 455 E. 20th Street was robbed Tuesday just before 3:45 p.m.

The surveillance video, which is posted above, shows a suspect ordering the store's only attendant to hand over cash.

The video shows the robber holding a pistol in his right hand when he leaves the store.
Officers said the suspect took off on a yellow bike heading eastbound on E. 21 street.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, mid 20's, large build, approximately 5'10, wearing a black t-shirt, tan shorts, gloves and a bandanna over his face.

The Chico Police Department said Tuesday's robbery is similar to a liquor store that was robbed at gunpoint on Monday.
East Avenue Liquors at 1354 East Ave was robbed at 3:14 p.m. Monday.

Investigators said a suspect entered the store and told the clerk he had a gun in his waistband while demanding an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect then took off on a bike.

Police officers are working to release surveillance video of Monday's robbery.
