Update: Car crashes into house in Redding; two people flee

Car crashes into house in Redding; two people flee
REDDING, Calif. -

Redding police are on the hunt for a man and a woman they say ran after crashing their car into a home.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. Friday at 2806 Freebridge Street near Weldon Street.

No one was home at the time.

Officers on the scene said the car, which had Oregon license plates, had not been reported stolen as of the time of the crash.

A small dog ran out of the home just after the crash.  The dog was not injured.

The first suspect who fled the location is described as a white male adult in his 20's wearing a black shirt/black shorts and carrying a black back pack. 

The second suspect is described as a white female adult in her 20's wearing a orange shirt/blue jeans with red hair. 

This is an on going investigation and any information regarding this incident should contact the Redding Police Department.
