CHICO, Calif. -

A car dealership in Chico is giving away free vehicles, but it's not what you think.

Chuck Patterson Toyota in Chico has purchased 200 bicycles.  They're giving them to boys and girls in need so they can have a special Christmas.

The giveaway is part of Justin's Bike Fund.  It was started by a 6-year-old boy, Justin Gonzalez.  Several years ago, he started collecting bikes for kids who couldn't afford them.  General Manager Mike Patterson said this year’s donation of 200 bikes is the biggest yet.

”These kids are supposed to be screened and picked out who've never owned a new bike. So this will be there first time,” said Patterson. “It would be like an adult, you or I, who get a brand new car.”

A few of the kids were scheduled to stop by Chuck Patterson Friday to meet Santa and take home a new bike.
