Paradise police arrested two people Friday morning after they found stolen property and over four grams of methamphetamine in their car.
Police found stolen property from a home that was robbed on Dec. 22 in Paradise.

An officer noticed three people leaving the Les Schwab Tires parking lot in car on the Skyway around 3 a.m., and thought it was a suspicious.

The officer then pursued the car and pulled it over at the Lantern Inn Motel. The officer then approached the car and found stolen property inside.
Police say 26-year-old David Santos, a transient, and his girlfriend 18-year-old Alexa Resser stole three guns, several laptops, cameras, and other belongings that were found inside the car.
57-year-old Gary Lambert was also inside the car, but he was not arrested.
Paradise police say the items came from a residential robbery that happened on Dec. 22 off West Wagstaff Road.
Investigators also found four grams of methamphetamine inside.

"Just make sure you don't leave valuables in your car," said Police Sgt. Rob Nichols.  "Make sure your cars are locked up and neighbors are watching out and take precautions."

Santos and Reeser were charged with possession of stolen property, a controlled substance and possession of a firearm.

Both of them were taken to the Butte County Jail, and the police returned that stolen property back to their rightful owners.
