Danger on the trail, police release suspect sketch

REDDING, Calif. -

The Redding Police Department released a sketch Tuesday of the individual sought in connection to a series of assaults which took place on the Sacramento River Trail during the afternoon of Oct. 7, 2013.

The suspect is described as 5 foot 6 inches to 5 foot 9 inches tall and between 140 to 160 pounds, with light brown to blonde hair, 1 inch in length. The suspect is further described as having a light olive complexion and a baby face or unable to grow much facial hair.

In all three incidents the suspect was seen riding a silver or chrome colored BMX style bicycle.

The Redding Police Department continues to actively pursue any and all leads regarding the identification of the suspect.  Additionally, Shasta County Secret Witness is offering a reward leading to the capture and conviction of the suspect in this case.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Redding Police Department Investigation’s Division at (530) 225-4214 or Secret Witness at (530) 243-2319.
