Four arrested in marijuana raid in Mendocino National Forest

ELK CREEK, Calif. -

Four people are facing drug charges after a massive marijuana raid in Mendocino National Forest.

3,114 plants worth $3 million were seized.

On sunday agents with the Glenn Interagency Narcotics Task Force arrested Antonio Villegas, 34, near Bowman Ridge west of Elk Creek in Glenn County after they say he was spotted on a trail leading to a marijuana garden.

Three other suspects were arrested on Tuesday when agents raided the garden.

Two of those suspects, Jesus Guadalupe Mascorro, 31, and Genaro Campos Santacruz, 31 were arrested at he scene.

The other suspect, Jorge Luis Sanchez, 43, ran away.

He was arrested a few hours later after he was spotted near the Elk Creek CAL FIRE station.

All four suspects are in the country illegally.
