The USDA's Food and Nutrition Service is offering free breakfast and lunches to Red Bluff students ages of one to 18.
The meals will be given at Jackson Heights Elementary School and will go all the way through August 13. Students do not have to be a part of Jackson Heights Elementary School nor do they have to be a part of any summer school program.
The goal is to provide healthy meals for those who need it.
"They can come to eat breakfast and bring their children and then turn around and come back for lunch time and eat lunch," said District Nutrition Director Tina Egan. "They don't have to be enrolled in any of the programs here.”
Breakfast is served from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The school will not serve meals between June 22 and June 26 or on July 4 or 5.
