ORLAND, Calif. -

Amber Lopez called the Glenn County Sheriff's Office at 2:30 a.m. on Monday to report that two dogs were attacking her livestock on her property in Orland.

Then, at 10:21 a.m., Lopez called again to say that the dogs had bitten her husband, Rafael Lopez, 24, while he was trying to capture the stray dogs.

Glenn County deputies attempted to locate the dogs but they were unable to find them or figure out who owned them. They are described as follows:

  • One dog is a brown and black brindle boxer with a black muzzle, docked tail and a pink collar.
  • The second dog is a black and white cattle dog with erect ears and a short tail.

Anyone with information about the dogs or a possible owner is urged to call the Glenn County Sheriff's Office at 934-6431.
