REDDING,Calif. -

We are getting closer to stuffing the bus. We are so thankful to those of you who have already donated new and unwrapped toys. And even though ‘Stuff The Bus’ focuses on toys, there was a grocery store that wanted to get involved. Grocery Outlet wanted to be a part of ‘Stuff The Bus’ and donated more than $300 worth of food .

"It’s very important to me because the community obviously supports my store and I’m very thankful for that and its really nice to be able to give back to the community," said Grocery Outlet owner, Ron Davis.

"Through the holiday season we serve over 600families, these families range from families of 8 all the way to 2," said Lit. Dan Whipple, from The Salvation Army.

“It’s very encouraging to have people step up and give something when it’s not even being asked for at the moment."

Our big stuff the bus toy drive is tomorrow. We’ll stuff buses at Ford dealers in Redding and Chico. You can also donate in Corning and Oroville.
