Rock is an 8 year-old French Percheron that could potentially be Los Molinos' next mayor.
Every year there's an honorary mayor's race in Los Molinos.
The candidates raise money to help pay for the Independence Day parade and play day in the park.
Rock works with his little brother Rick, who is serving as his campaign manager.
The two pull carts and give people rides, sometimes at Shasta College, so technically he's been to college.
His other spokesperson, Jeannie Gallagher said
"We drive around this community a lot. On the streets we have participated in the parades. He's a tremendous presence in Los Molinos, he's very noticeable, and he's bigger than life," said Gallagher.
Gallagher and her husband Ron are active in the Los Molinos community.
The couple said they decided to have Rock run for mayor because they thought it would be fun and they wanted to generate interest in the community.
Jars are now out at different businesses throughout Los Molinos to vote for a candidate all you have to do is put money in the jar.
All of the money will go toward the parade and play day on July 4.
