WILLOWS, Calif. -

A huge fire damaged property at the Johns Manville roofing and fiberglass plant in Willows.

The fire was reported Saturday morning at the property on County Road 49 just west of the city limits.

Willows Fire Department tells KRCR News Channel 7 six truckloads of materials caught fire.  Basically every fire department in Glenn County, seven in all, responded with about 50 firefighters on scene.

Crews spent the entire day removing smoldering material from the warehouse and hosing it down.

As of 5 p.m. crews were still on the scene and the Willows Fire Department says they may be there into tomorrow.

There have been no reports of any structural damage nor any injuries.

A cause for the fire has yet to be determined.
