If you or someone you know is a victim of domestic violence, there are centers in Butte, Shasta and Tehama counties that can help you.

For the Shasta Women's Refuge and Family Justice Center, their 24-hour toll-free crisis line is (530)244-0117. Their website is also shastawomensrefuge.org.

For Tehama County, the domestic violence center is called Alternatives to Violence.

To call its 24-hour crisis hotline, the number is (530)528-0226 and its toll-free number is 1-800-324-6473. The Alternatives to Violence website is www.atvrb.org.

If you live in Butte County, Catalyst Domestic Violence Services also offers a crisis hotline: 1-800-799-SAFE (7233). Its website is www.catalystdvservices.org.
