WILLOWS, Calif. -

One lane of  Interstate 5 was blocked in Glenn County after a big-rig crashed and became wedged under an overpass.

The crash happened at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday in Willows, on Interstate 5 at the Highway 162 overpass.

The truck driver told the CHP  he was traveling at about 55 mph when another vehicle cut him off.

Otilio Martinez, 36, reportedly swerved out of the way and dodged a car. He then crashed his truck into the supports on the right side under the overpass.

The CHP closed the right lane of I-5 for hours while crews removed the groceries from the trailer and inspected the overpass.

Martinez complained of back pain, but was otherwise unhurt.
