WILLOWS, Calif. -

The Willows Police Dept. has arrested a 64-year-old man for allegedly threatening a six-year-old girl with a knife.

On Monday evening, James Graziano, 43, reported that a 6-year-old girl was threatened by James Rodney Coker, 64, with a knife. The child said that Coker brandished a knife at her and threatened her with it after she accidentally got in his way near his apartment complex.

She was able to get on her scooter and ride away from Coker without any injuries.

Officers and deputies searched throughout the evening and got an anonymous call at around 10:15 p.m. that Coker had returned to his apartment on N. Villa Ave.

Willows police took Coker into custody where he was booked for criminal threats, brandishing a deadly weapon and child endangerment. His bail is set at $205,000.
