An arrest warrant has been issued for Bradley Weber Sr., a man deputies say is "armed and dangerous," in connection with the murder of his son.
Investigators say Bradley Weber Jr., 33, was taken to a local hospital by neighbors at about 8:19 p.m. on Saturday, November 2. He was suffering from a gunshot wound. Shortly after he arrived at the hospital, he died.
Detectives say Weber Jr. resided with his father at 6323 Marsha Farms Road in Igo. Sheriff’s deputies responded to that location once they learned of it, and located the scene of the crime. Witnesses were interviewed and evidence was collected.
As a result of these efforts, detectives determined Weber, Jr. was murdered, and now want to question Bradley Weber Sr., 52, about what happened to his son.
Deputies say Weber Sr. should be considered “armed and dangerous.”
UPDATE: The Shasta County Sheriff’s Sergeant investigating the homicide said the victim, Bradley Weber Jr., rode away from the residence on a 4-wheeler ATV to a neighbor’s house to try and get help after he was shot.
The neighbors then drove Weber Jr. to the hospital.
The sergeant confirmed details that there were multiple people at the listed address for some sort of gathering the night of the shooting. Empty alcohol bottles were found at the scene.
There is a trailer and several tents on the property where both the suspect and victim were residing, because any sort of structure that was permanently there was destroyed in the Clover Fire that started in early September.
