Missing 83-year-old woman considered at risk
Chico, Calif. -

Police say an 83-year-old Orland woman who was reported missing and considered at risk because she suffers from dementia was found around 10:45 p.m. Thursday.

Marilyn June Stone was found driving on the wrong side of the rode in Davis and pulled over by police.

Earlier Thursday, her family said they last saw her around 2:00 p.m. in the Rite Aid parking lot on West East Avenue in Chico. Officers say she was with her husband, and waited in the car when he went inside the store.  When he came outside his wife and car were missing.  A nearby witness says he saw Marilyn drive away in the car.

The family filed the missing person report around 8:45 p.m. Thursday. Family members were worried for her safety because she does not normally drive, and since she suffers from dementia she could get lost.

Chico Police Sgt. Rob Merrifield says Marilyn is in good condition.
