Oroville Police said at 3:45 a.m. Saturday, Butte County Search and Rescue found a missing Oroville child safe at River Bend Park.
Vladimir Martin Huerta-Larios, 10, was located in the south end of the park, sleeping in a gazebo. He appeared to be in good health.
The Oroville Police Department had issued a news release Friday night, asking for the public's help in locating Huerta-Larios.
He was last seen Friday in the 800 block of Pomona Street about 6:30 p.m.
Police officials said the family became concerned because Vladimir is disabled and had not taken his nightly prescribed medications. He becomes drowsy and tired when off his medications. He resides in the downtown Oroville area and likes walking off to the nearby parks.
