Mobile home destroyed in fire, leaving four homeless
A fire destroyed a mobile home in Red Bluff, leaving two children and two adults homeless Thursday evening.
A tenant arrived to find the home in the 19,000 block of Reeds Creek Road on fire and called emergency crews. Cal Fire responded to the scene around 5 p.m. The blaze was active in the living room and attic.
It took crews 30 minutes to fully contain the fire. The structure is still standing, but the home is a total loss due to smoke damage throughout the home.
The damage estimate is $70,000. No one was injured and the cause remains under investigation. Cal Fire officials do not believe it is suspicious.
