Redding Police officers were forced to bust into an apartment after information that Shasta’s Most Wanted subject Jacarri Jabrahn Sanders was inside.
Tuesday morning, police received information Sanders was staying at the apartments on the 1900 block of 10th street in Redding. Sanders had reportedly been staying with his brother, 25-year-old Kemayu Kadeem Sander, and a second probationer, 42-year-old Michele Ann Blood, both of Redding.
Just after 11 a.m., investigators attempted to contact those inside the apartment, but there was no response. Redding police said Kemayu Sanders was reportedly preventing those inside the apartment from answering the door or responding to police.
Investigators worked to get anyone to answer the door, but after 20 minutes officers forced their way in.
Five people were found inside the apartment unit.
Jacarri Sanders was arrested on his outstanding warrants and for resisting or obstructing officers.
The Most Wanted suspect’s brother, Kemayu Sanders, was arrested for false imprisonment, and resisting or obstructing officers.
Michelle Blood was arrested for resisting or obstructing officers.
Two other subjects were released at the scene.
