NASCAR revs through Northstate in preparation for weekend race

NorthstateFans lined the streets of Sacramento as haulers brought vehicles and equipment into Sonoma Raceway for the Toyota Save Mart 350 on Sunday.

NORTHSTATE, Calif. -

NASCAR is making its annual stop in Northern California on Sunday at the Sonoma Raceway.

The road to Sears Point ran through downtown Sacramento on Thursday. Haulers, carrying the cars and equipment, paraded through the downtown streets on Thursday.

Northstate Senator Jim Nielsen declared Thursday 'NASCAR Day' in California.

The green flag drops on Sunday at 12 p.m. with the Toyota Save Mart 350.

Tickets are still available.
