CHICO, Calif. -

It looked like Spider-Man was in Chico on Wednesday.

Members of the Chico Police SWAT team and the Chico Fire Department were seen rappelling down Whitney Hall at Chico State University.

At nine stories tall, Whitney Hall is the tallest building in the city.

The exercise was part of a training exercise to prepare the officers and firefighters in the event their rescue skills are needed in tall buildings.

At one point a Chico Police Department K9 went for a ride with an officer (pictured).  The dog did not appear happy to be descending down the outside of the building in such a precarious position.
