PARADISE, Calif. -

An Oroville woman rolled her vehicle several times Saturday evening in Paradise near Clark Road after being distracted by one of her three kids in the back seat.

The accident happened just before 5 p.m. near Meadow Song Drive.

According to Paradise Police, 25-year-old Stacey Fisher was negotiating a sweeping left turn on Clark Road just north of the airport when she says she was distracted by one of her children in the back seat and drifted onto the shoulder before over-correcting, hitting an embankment and flipping her 1995 Toyota Forerunner multiple times.

Nearby witnesses helped Fisher and her three young children out of the vehicle before police arrived. They were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

Police say the children were properly secured in child safety seats.

It was determined that alcohol was not a factor in the collision.
