REDDING, Calif. -

Redding Police arrested one suspect and are looking for two others after a burglary Tuesday morning.

The call came in at 10:09 a.m. Tuesday in the 4400 block of Swallow Tail Court in Redding.  A witness reported that someone was breaking into his neighbor's house.  The citizen reported that an older dark green Jeep Cherokee was parked in front of the residence and a male subject was observed prying on the side garage door.

Police said the suspect vehicle left the area driving westbound on Swallow Tail Court.  A man was observed leaving the residence carrying a black bag.  Redding Police Officers located the male suspect just west of the residence on Swallow Tail Court carrying a black tool bag full of hand tools.

The owner of the residence was contacted and identified the tools as belonging to him.  The suspect was unknown to the owner and did not have permission to be in the residence.  The suspect was identified by the reporting citizen as the same subject he saw breaking into the side garage door of his neighbor's residence.

The suspect was identified as Anthony Kass, 24 years of Anderson.  Kass was booked at Shasta County Jail for burglary.  The suspect vehicle was last seen occupied by two female subjects, one possibly with short red hair, leaving the area.

Anyone with information regarding the identity of the female subjects or the vehicle is encouraged to contact the Redding Police Department at 225-4200.
