Red Bluff 4th of July fireworks postponed due to weather
After a year of planning and a whole day of setting up, the city of Red Bluff still didn't have their fourth of July fireworks show.
The Red Bluff fire department says high winds and low relative humidity made it dangerous for the city to have their fireworks show.
The Tehama Fireworks committee, which organized the fireworks after there was no event last year, shared in the disappointment of many.
"I was looking forward to it you know the fireworks at the park for the 4th of July have been a tradition here for a while so it sucked," said Hailey Souza.
The Red Bluff fire department will be working with the Tehama Fireworks Committee to set a make-up date for the fireworks.
They'll hold a meeting on July 17th at 6 p.m. at the Lariat Bowl in Red Bluff to discuss options.
