RED BLUFF, Calif. -

Tuesday night a dog from Red Bluff will go for the gold at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City.

The Cardigan Welsh Corgi named Coco Posh will compete for the Best in Show title.  Coco Posh won best in breed Sunday night for the second year in a row.  Monday night she won best in the herding group, advancing to Tuesday's finals.

Even though she's only been competing for two years she comes from a line of champions.  Back home in Red Bluff, her mother Lola is retired grand-champion.  Her owner Julie Divens said she's thrilled.

" I didn't think we had a chance and heck!" said Divens Monday after watching the best in breed victory.  "They split the group in half because it was so huge and that's when I really had the idea that we had such a big shot and I didn't even know we actually won until Ive looked at the streaming video then I just started screaming!"

The dog is co-owned by the Divens family in Red Bluff and its handler.

Tuesday's competition will be carried live on USA network from 5-8 p.m.  Best of luck to Coco Posh in her quest for the championship.
