A Red Bluff family is asking for help.
Their three-year-old daughter is suffering from neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder which causes brain tumors and without treatment can be deadly.
The Macik family has to take their daughter, Makenzie Macik to Sacramento once a week, for 70 weeks and they said the expenses are adding up.
"She has tumors on her optical nerves and they told us that if they had grown in four months she was gonna have to start chemo theraphy,” said April Short, mother of Makenzie.
The family said they will continue to take Makenzie to get treated and will do anything they can to make sure she’s okay.
"I would with trade with her in an instant to make her better,"said Short.
